Le stelle del cinema fotografate da Cristian Castelnuovo al Salute Palace di Venezia.

Il Salute Palace, boutique hotel di proprietà del gruppo SHG, celebra le stelle della mostra del cinema con una personale del fotografo Cristian Castelnuovo nel Bistrò del Salute Palace Hotel e contestualmente con un'installazione dell'artista in uno dei suoi giardini piu’ belli ed esclusivi. Cristian Castelnuovo, noto per aver ritratto personaggi del cinema, dello spettacolo e della politica per i più importanti periodici, racconta i divi del grande schermo come George Clooney, Spike Lee, Léa Seydoux ritratti al di fuori del set. Scatti divenuti celebri per aver reso la personalità e il lato umano delle stelle, foto al contempo plastiche e mosse, che offrono allo spettatore un insolito punto di vista.

Dal 29 agosto al 9 settembre le opere saranno esposte all’interno del Bistrò da Cicí, dove verrà proposto un menù pop, dedicato al 75esimo appuntamento del Festival del Cinema di Venezia, studiato dallo Chef Stefano Bison appositamente per l’occasione. Il servizio dalle 12 alle 15 e dalle 19 alle 23 durante tutta la settimana. L’ingresso al Bistrò sarà libero per chi vorrà visitare l’esposizione.

 

Giovedì 30 agosto dalle 19, il Secret Garden del Salute Palace, si trasformerà da antica dimora veneziana immersa nel verde a spazio per l'arte contemporanea, in occasione della presentazione alla stampa della collezione, frutto della ricerca artistica di Cristian Castelnuovo, Nonplace @Secretgarden un'installazione "insitu" di immagini riprodotte in grande formato che Castelnuovo ha realizzato durante i suoi molteplici viaggi intorno all mondo. Visioni legate al mondo del cinema, per il loro rimando alle architetture fantascientifiche di Ken Adams nei film di Kubrick, iper reali, metafisiche e postmoderne.

Durante la serata verrà offerto un gala Dinner buffet.

“Il cinema oggi è da considerarsi come una delle arti più complete, il festival del cinema di Venezia è sicuramente a livello mondiale uno degli appuntamenti più importanti soprattutto per il cinema di ricerca. Ho deciso di presentare il mio lavoro fotografico “Shooting Stars” con l’intenzione di creare una storia usando i protagonisti del cinema contemporaneo, un attore non cessa mai di essere un personaggio anche quando non è sul set, se prendiamo il matrimonio di George Clooney è stato un film fuori dal film, che ha preso forma davanti al mio obbiettivo” dichiara Cristian Castelnuovo

Movie stars photographed by Cristian Castelnuovo at the Salute Palace in Venice.

The Salute Palace, a boutique hotel owned by the SHG group, celebrates the stars of the cinema with a personal exhibition by the photographer Cristian Castelnuovo in the Bistrò of the Salute Palace Hotel and at the same time with an installation by the artist in one of his most exclusive and beautiful gardens. Cristian Castelnuovo, known for having portrayed characters from the cinema, entertainment and politics for the most important magazines and newspapers, tells about stars of the big screen like George Clooney, Spike Lee, Léa Seydoux portrayed outside the film set. His shots have become famous for having depicted the personality and the human side of the stars, photos at the same time plastic and moved, and offer the viewer an unusual point of view.

 

From the 29th August to 9th of September the works will be exhibited inside the Bistrò da Cicí, where a pop menu will be proposed, dedicated to the 75th Venice Film Festival event, designed by Chef Stefano Bison specifically for the occasion. The service will be held from 12 am to 3 pm and from 7 pm to 11 pm throughout the whole week. The entrance to the Bistrò will be free for those wishing to visit the exhibition.

On Thursday 30th August from 7 pm, the Secret Garden of the Salute Palace will be transformed from an ancient Venetian residence surrounded by greenery to a space for contemporary art. Collection of the artistic research of Cristian Castelnuovo, Nonplace @Secretgarden an installation "insitu" of images reproduced in large format that Castelnuovo has created during his many trips around the world. Visions related to the world of cinema, for their reference to the science-fiction architectures of Ken Adams in Kubrick's films, hyper real, metaphysical and postmodern.

 

"Cinema today is considered one of the most complete arts, the Venice Film Festival is certainly one of the most important events worldwide especially for essay cinema. I decided to present my photographic work "Shooting Stars" with the intention of creating a story using the protagonists of contemporary cinema, an actor never ceases to be a character even when he is not on set, if we take the marriage of George Clooney it was a film out of the film, which took shape in front of my lens ", declares Cristian Castelnuovo
